MY FAVORITE HOMEMADE GRANOLA RECIPE, by Chef Lissy Benavides
Ingredients:
4 cups Oatmeal flakes
1/4 cup whole Golde Flax seeds
1/2 cup Amaranth
1/2 cup Wheat Bran
1/4 cup Wheat Germ
1 cup of your favorite Nuts (pecans, almonds, cashews, peanuts)
1 1/2 cup dry Coconut
1/2 cup Sunflower seeds
1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
Combine all the ingredients listed above and then add the wet ingredients to combine
WET INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup Honey
1/4 cup Vegetable oil ( I prefer Canola)
1 tbs Vanilla
Add wet ingredients into the cereals, nuts mix and combine until everything looks well coated, then put it on greased tray and bake it on 350 F, take it out every 10 minutes in order to move everything then bake in again, until everything is crispy and with little gold colour.
Let it cool down and the put it on glass containers or hermetic container, the shelf life is one month.
My suggestion: Enjoy your Granola with yogurth, with your favorite fruits, as healthy snack, or like cake or cupcake crunchi topping.

Cramberries
Blueberries
Cherrys
Raisins & Sultanas
Chopped apricots or dates
