How NOT to Swear in Spanish
For anyone learning Spanish, whether you're here living in Spain or not, knowing how NOT to curse in a given situation will help you avoid some awkward moments.
This video is especially useful for any teachers out there who may not yet know the kid-friendly alternatives to all the swear words you are bound to have heard out on the streets of Seville and other Spanish cities.
This is a crucial skill to have; instead of wasting your time actively learning curse words that you will pick up involuntarily, take a 10 minute break to learn how to avoid them when you need to!
In this video, we'll talk about "jolín" and "jolines" as alternatives to jod** along with some examples.
We'll also discuss the many ways to finish a phrase with "me cachis" and what exactly it is a substitute for.
You can't forget the ever-so-Catholic expression "hostia." In the video, I'll talk about two replacements: "ostras" and "torta," along with some examples.
Finally, you'll discover some clean ways of saying you've had it up to "here" in Spanish, without a vulgar word in sight.
As a free bonus, I'll let you in on what my favorite curse word is!
Leave a comment and let me know how you feel about swearing in English, in Spanish, or in any other language.

A sincere thanks for taking the time to watch my video and support my crazy love for living in Spain.
