Six States to Receive over $900M in ARPA Funds for Broadband
Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Utah will be receiving almost one billion dollars for the deployment of broadband services from the American Rescue Plan’s Capital Projects Fund. The amounts vary from $250 million for Georgia to $10 million for Utah. The Capital Projects Fund is part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) passed in 2021, and makes available $10 Billion in block grants to states for broadband deployment projects.
