WISPA Estimates BEAD Rules Could Lead to $8.6B in Waste

In an open letter to the NTIA, the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA) says that by not classifying unlicensed Fixed Wireless deployments as a "Reliable Broadband Service" in the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program, they will be wasting $8.6 billion dollars due to funding areas that already have broadband service.
