RESIDENT EVIL Season 2 Netflix Release Expected DESPITE Negative Reviews from Disappointed Fans

Hey, guys! Let’s talk about Season 2 renewal chances for Resident Evil. The new Netflix Original sci-fi horror series came out on July 14. Fans of the video game series and the same-name movie franchise couldn’t wait to watch the new Netflix adaptation, developed by Andrew Dabb, who previously spent 12 years working on the team of the hit TV series Supernatural. Based on the first several thousand reviews, we can tell that most fans are disappointed with new Resident Evil adaptation. On IMDb, the show is currently rated at 3.4 out of 10, and on Rotten Tomatoes, the approval (or, rather, disapproval) rating stands insultingly low at 29%. Considering this negative feedback, one would think that Season 2 of Resident Evil has no chance in hell, BUT it is not the quality of the feedback but the viewership numbers that Netflix’s renewal and cancelation decisions are based on. And something tells us, that if anything, just out of curiosity, millions of die-hard Resident Evil fans will watch the new Netflix series. To keep the door open for a Season 2 renewal, the Resident Evil creative team didn’t kill off all Albert’s clones, as we saw Bert Wesker driving away with twins Jade and Billie in the year 2022.
