The new show has made it onto Top-10 Netflix lists in more than NINETY countries. Viewers and critics alike praise the new supernatural Netflix drama: on Rotten Tomatoes, they scored it very highly at 83 and 86%, respectively. The Sandman is based on the same-name comic book series written in 1989-1996 by Neil Gaiman, who developed and produced the Netflix adaptation with David Goyer. It will be such a pity if Netflix didn’t renew for Season 2 also because The Sandman has been literally in development hell for years since the first Goyer pitch in 2013. Unfortunately, DESPITE fantastic reviews and reaching Top-1, Season 2 of The Sandman could still be in jeopardy, according to creator Neil Gaiman.
