Sheep shed preparation

Morning feeding the indoor animals (cows, calves, sheep).

Onto some work in the sheep shed to sort out one group into two smaller groups. We got two Galebreakers last year and they worked really well. We fitted one to the side where the sheep are. The other side will get fitted with one once all the bales are removed. We also fixed another water trough.

I then got a bale of straw with the tractor and dropped it onto the Crossfire. I used the Manitou and Crossfire to put down fresh straw in the sheep pens.

I filled up the snacker with feed and took the quad and snacker up the hills to feed the outdoor ewes.

A bit more feeding last thing before finishing up for the day!
