Despite all the hatred in the world, people still somehow manage to show a bit of compassion, even to animals. The relationship between humans and animals is between foes and friends. This bond can be of love, kindness, and even fear. But you are going to meet those humans with kind and brave hearts who saved those poor animals putting their safety aside.
Number 10. Squirrel CPR
Thousands of animals are killed on roads every single year. I believe that that number would be greatly reduced if humans started showing a bit more compassion towards our furry friends, just like this man. In this footage taken by the body cam of Brooklyn Park police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the police officers approached a man who left his car running on the side of the road. As they approached the man, they saw that he was trying to revive what looked to be a dead squirrel.
When questioned by the police, the man said he thought he hit the squirrel with his car but managed to swerve enough to avoid squishing the tiny thing. But he must have hit it enough to render it dead or unconscious, so he picked up the tiny guy and started doing some sort of squirrel CPR. After a few minutes of what I could only describe as "random prodding", the tiny squirrel sprang back to life and went on its merry way.

Number 9. Sloth Savior
Sloths are adorable. These slowest animals are always the lowest on energy. Maybe it's their laziness or their cute face that we all feel attracted towards them. Some might even relate to their lazy behavior… Well, this cute incident is also going to melt your heart. In the video, the sloth can be seen crossing the road in Rio de Janeiro at its slowest speed, which is super dangerous. Any unpleasant incident can happen… But then a guy stumbled upon this sloth and decided to help. The guy can be seen getting out of his car, picking up the sloth, and hurrying across the road. He placed the animal at its home, the tree. The guy waved at the animal to say goodbye. And then the cutest moment happened. As the sloth was placed on the tree, it slowly turned its smiling face around, and it can be seen lifting its one arm as if waving back to the guy. How adorable! This sloth is literally grateful to that random guy for saving his life.

Number 8. A Different Kind of Fighter
We're more used to seeing MMA fighters knock people senseless with their punches or tapping people out with extremely painful submission holds. MMA fighter Cathal Pendred can do all of those and much more. It seems that, when he's not bashing other people's heads in, he does a bit of wildlife rescue.
While taking a walk on the beach one fine Sunday morning, the Irish mixed martial artist noticed a crowd of concerned people. He moved closer and saw the cause of all the commotion; a stranded baby dolphin. A man was trying to push the poor animal back into the water, but the strong waves kept pushing the dolphin back on the beach.
Taking over for the exhausted man, Pendred then sprang into action. Up against ocean currents and rocky terrain, the fighter did his best to get the beached dolphin back into the water. It was a struggle, but Pendred was able to get the job done in about an hour.

Number 7. Dog Rescue
Dogs are the most faithful pets. There is no doubt ns that! The relation between humans and dogs is of love and loyalty and sometimes humans too have to show their emotions. That's what this incident shows... A dog ventured out on a frozen lake, but it got stuck on a patch of thin ice. The poor dog was unable to walk on ice, and even the hind legs and body were frozen in icy cold water. Its half-body was just stuck. It could not move or get free. So, it just sat there waiting to be rescued. Luckily, the rescue team came there to save it. They tried to break the ice so that the pup could be freed from the frozen lake. After putting in some effort for some time, the dog was finally free from that cold frozen lake. It was covered in blankets to keep it warm. These little acts of kindness warm our hearts….
