Oaxaca City: Off the Beaten Path (Oaxaca, Mexico Travel Vlog)
3 weeks in a place like Oaxaca City actually didn't feel like very long. In fact, we enjoyed those 3 weeks so much that we actually paid another visit to the city since then!
The fact is there is simply a TON to do in Oaxaca and even more to EAT. So we'll probably keep going back and back again.
Oaxaca City is famous among travelers and only growing in popularity. Visitors love it for many reasons including it's colorful and vibrant culture, world class festivals (it's a favorite for Día de los Muertos), it's fascinating history, and probably above all- the cuisine. Oaxaca City is widely regarded as one of best places to eat in Mexico and even in the world. It's got delicious mole, tlayudas, tamales, the literal best ice cream in the world, and mezcal to wash it all down. That's literally just the start. Turns out Oaxaca cooks way more than just regional dishes well, this city makes perfect EVERYTHING! We simply couldn't eat enough in Oaxaca.
In this video we explore some off the beaten path places in Oaxaca City. We were thrilled to meet @vlogcasha while exploring Oaxaca City too. Check out his channel-he travels all over the world and we've really enjoyed watching his videos. He also featured our encounter in one of his videos from Oaxaca City. :)
We hope you enjoy our video from Oaxaca. If you do, you can also check out our past video where we directly compared Oaxaca City to Merida for visiting/moving to (be sure to read the comments...lot's of cool insight and opinions...and leave one of your own!). Also be sure to subscribe because we have more videos on Oaxaca City coming. Including visiting the Tule Tree-the world's widest tree, visiting the incredible Monte Albán, exploring the oldest neighborhood in the city, and of course, eating more.
Have you been to Oaxaca City? What are your thoughts on the city?
Also - It has been quite awhile since we've last posted! Due to a lot of reasons... technical issues as well as life and schedule changes. We had a hard drive fail on us that we had yet to back up and several major changes with work. We'll dive into that and a few updates in upcoming videos. We have got a lot on the way. Thank you for your support to our channel, it is much appreciate...we love exploring the beautiful country of Mexico with you all!
