Our Trip to Europe and North Africa during Covid-19 Coronavirus (Spain)

We just got back yesterday morning from our latest overseas trip. This video is for anyone who's curious about what the experience was like based on everything being said on the media, or for anyone who might still currently have a trip planned. If you currently have a trip planned you're probably wondering what to expect (like we were) and we can't exactly tell you as the situation with Covid-19 is rapidly changing every day.

Our trip (for context):
From February 26th-March 11th, we took a bus from Durham, NC to NYC and flew from New York to Madrid with United Airlines. From Madrid, we rented a car and drove to the Algarve coast of Portugal and then back to Madrid where we flew with Ryanair to Marrakech to spend a week down there. Then back to Madrid (on March 8th-10th) where we spent two more nights before heading back to NYC and bussing back down to Raleigh. (This info is only relevant for that time and we're aware that the situation is rapidly developing especially in Spain, unfortunately.)

During that time the situation rapidly changed (particularly in Spain and back home in the US) and our biggest worry from a traveler's perspective was getting stuck abroad or possibly quarantined.

This video in no way is representative of our opinion on traveling during the outbreak or anything else, it's exclusively just our experience with it and us going over any differences we noticed due to the virus outbreak while we were traveling. Spoiler: It was nothing extreme. We expected more differences on the trip and less dramatic changes in the overall outbreak while we were gone, those were the biggest surprises.
