32 Hour Layover in Iceland! (With nearly 24 hours of daylight!)

We flew from New York City-Brussels, Belgium in May, 2019 with Icelandair to begin our six-week backpacking trip through Europe!

On the way, we scored an amazing stopover in Iceland- about 35 hours with 32 hours to actually explore. Icelandair offers this quite often when en route to or from mainland Europe. It's the perfect way to see Iceland a bit, but trust us...you'll want to go back for more ASAP.

Iceland is literally like another planet and full of a truly insane amount of things to see and do...but you'd be surprised at how much you can see in 32 hours with a rental car, lots of caffeine and almost 24 hours of daylight! (We went hiking after 11 pm!) Check out some of the places we saw and a few excerpts from our time there, we didn't film everything...too busy exploring. ;)
