I will take you through the privacy settings going to ''Privacy suggestions available'' where you can set up a security on the web. This means you can make changes and have more control over the activities that Google is tracking. Google tracks all internet browsing, use of apps and any activity connected to your Google account including other devices that you are using.
There are other things you can do regarding tracking your visits on Google like you can set ''Auto-delete'' so the searched content gets automatically deleted over a period of time.
Other option to stop Google tracking is to go to ''Manage Activity'' where you can delete the no longer required content from the Google history. You can also manage the link that Google has between your devices and remove all the activities at once by going to ''Delete activity by''.
Location history is another tracking system where Google knows your current location, the places you are travelling to and where your devices are. You might want to keep the history so you can see all the places you have travelled to, which can be very useful, or you might want to block the tracking so Google doesn't keep the details. However if you want to use the Google Maps you will want to have the Location history on because it will provide you with many useful information, for example when moving from one place to another, recommendations of local restaurants etc.
Finally, I will go through the privacy settings on YouTube history, Google tracks your YouTube activities and keep the history of all the videos you watch.
The privacy settings on Google is important to learn about if you have a Google account and want to have more control over how Google tracks your activities. Google search links to all your devices, YouTube and everything you do on Google and Google Maps tracks your location and store the data in the Google history. All this actions can be managed and you can decide what information you are happy to keep, what to delete and decide how the Google links and tracks the searched content.
It is especially useful for the teachers and students who have a Google accounts and use it on the daily basis.
