UE4 Character Root Motion Locomotion
Root motion was introduced in this project to resolve issues like sliding feet and unnatural animation blending. I'm blending multiple animation slots and adding notifies to deal with possible edge cases that I can think of. The outcome is not perfect, but decent at the moment. There's still tiny amount of drifting at the end of stop-running. That's primarily because of root motion contributing to the transition blending, which I do not have a nice solution for now.
