How Walgreens Started

The Walgreen Company, famously known as Walgreens, is the second-largest pharmacy store chain in America with over 8,175 pharmacies all over the United States.

As you may know Charles Rudolph Walgreen was the man behind the chain, but what you may be surprised to find out is that when he cut off a third of his middle finger Charles was led to the innovation of something that would change the world.
This is the story of a young determined man who was passionate about becoming a pharmacist which led him to become the owner of this well known chain all over the world who popularize the lunch counters at stores.

Fun Fact: This Company is so large that they employ a fairly large city’s worth of people, close to a quarter million people!
