When The Church Bell Rings... Metal Detecting With Help From Above

In this episode I'm detecting an area during a windy autumn day. It started with a 1700's buckle and a church bell that rang quiet in the distance. When the wind picked up on top of the hill, it brought more noises from the distance.

The fascinating thing was, that every time a church bell rang, I made a good ("GPS worthy") find.

The area was partially steep and already cleaned out pretty good, it was a challenge to find anything at all. Nevertheless it was a memorable day with a few interesting relics as a reward. I'm very happy about the (what looks like a medieval) horseshoe. You can see how the horseshoe cleaned in one of my recent videos: https://youtu.be/UYkdawVziWw

I hope you liked the audio in this episode. I'm trying to improve the experience with new recording method and hope to bring you the forest a little bit closer (in comparison to the internal camera microphone). It was just a small test, I still have to find a more practical solution that isn't compromising my movement.

I hope you liked this episode.

Thank you for watching.
