"Icebreaker" - Metal Detecting Not A Fancy Place...

I had no big "aspirations" that day. I just wanted to swing my metal detector somewhere. I've choosen the first best place with relatively fast access. I already knew what to expect from a brief visit over two years ago. It was a modified area with "new trees" and lots of modern garbage on the surface.
But hey, it was a sunny Sunday, it didn't really matter as finds are not everything.

You could see that my expectations were pretty low when I found two small coins from 1930's. It was a huge success in my eyes. I also found a piece of foil with "Icebreaker" written on it. At first I thought it was named after a "Sledge Hammer" episode, but after extracting two items out of a web of roots and damaging the edge, I realized that it might have been a message from metal detecting Gods.

The item looks like a chalice. I thought that it was made entirely of silver, but after cleaning some of the surface, I've spotted a second layer of metal underneath. It could be pewter, I'm not sure.

I think, it was a good hunt for a spot like that. I had fun and this is what matters.
