Groups of neurons
Hello, this is another simulation of a little bunch of spiking neurons with only dendrites (no axons at this moments). The dendrites conduct just passive signals but have been hackered so that the conduction is very strong and along all the length of the dendrites. The synapses use the classic STDP rules; after some random signals the synapses changed their state and created local groups. I uses a "cursor" (magenta color) moving on every dendrites segment to inject current to test the local group formation. All the algorithms are written in CUDA C++ so I used to horsepower of the GPU (Thanks NVIDIA: excellent work).
Well, any comment would be appreciated.
PS: do you know how to do a better quality video? I am searching for infos about this.
