Bon Jovi | Brilliant 1st Night at Point Theatre | Diehard Audio | Dublin 1990

The penultimate regular show of the band in Europe (not counting Hammersmith Odeon) on their New Jersey tour. And what a night it was! From the band's energy to the crowd's energy - there was a level that can't be put into words. Besides maybe featuring the best Born To Be My Baby performance ever, Living In Sin comes close to that as does Never Say Goodybe in the encore or audience and band picking up a singalong to the classic "Que Sera"!
The recording starts out rought (and is missing Lay Your Hands On Me), but gets more steady from Bad Name onwards. After Living In Sin, a second cassette source made for a rather different sound with more clarity but also more of those old "cheap sound characteristics". I tried to smooth and equal it out and give it a wider and fuller sound. For diehard fans, this one shouldn't be of any problems though, we've had worse :D However, those Irish recordings are amongst the toughest we have, all the way from 1988 to 1993 and then 2000. Luckily, the mid 90's and this one are rather a positive exception.
I had to lower speed and pitch MASSIVELY and was quite shocked to see other uploads being unfiltered with regards to that since the only tape copy in circulation is brutally off in that aspect.
