Bon Jovi | Stunning 3rd Night at Wembley Arena | London 1993

After our little "dip" into (almost) 1992 with If I Was Your Mother earlier today, let's jump right into the band's most intense touring year ever! With all shows having been played from February to December, it had a higher show/week ratio than the Slippery When Wet or New Jersey tours which had been spread over around 16 months each. Originally, I had intended to add one of the warm-up club shows from the fall of 1992, but since the quality of these is insufficient (as is Bethlehem) and this run is intended to be useful for more casual fans as well, I shelved that idea. It may be added if we do another round of this and then go for the "diehard hardcore version" of "Jovi through the years" (i.e. crappy quality, but unheard shows or unexpected setlists :D).
This concert was taken from the first European leg and is just spine-chilling in terms of power and performance! A version of it used to be here at some point in the past, but I couldn't see it around anymore. The overall quality is pretty damn good, nice depth and crisp sound for an audience recording. I did some re-balancing and, like we already experienced with Lausanne, it decreases a bit near the end. My theory is that these recording gears either had some sort of options that lowered audio quality to keep the batteries going longer or that some settings (like bass roll-off) were lost during quick battery changes. In this case, it's more me being picky than one actually noticing it if you don't know it. I reworked the encore section with some different settings and got it to sound rather close to the main set.
