MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPUTIES ESCORT CAPTAIN DUNLAP FROM HCA CONROE TO MONTGOMERY COUNTY FORENSICS

Captain Kenny Dunlap with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office passed away unexpectedly from a medical incident while working in the yard at his home Saturday afternoon. MCHD Paramedics transported him to HCA Conroe Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Captain Dunlap has served the citizens of the State of Texas and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for over 40-years. He was promoted in 2017 to West Side Sergeant, a year later in 2018 he was promoted to Lieutenant and then shortly after to Captain. Sheriff Rand Henderson said, "My good friend and an honorable police officer passed away suddenly today. I am still processing this tragedy. Today is a day when the word "family", takes on a deep meaning for us all, take a moment to tell those close to you how much you love them. Please keep Kenny's wife, Beth and the Dunlap family in your prayers."
