Wifisfuneral on Retirement Rumour, Members Only, Coi Leray, PAIN? (FaceTime Interview)

In this new FaceTime interview, we spoke to 23 year old Florida rapper, and past XXL Freshman, Wifisfuneral. You probably have heard of Wifi through his collabs with other Florida artists like XXXTentacion, Ski Mask The Slump God, Kid Trunks, etc, but he actually just put out a whole new album, changing up his entire sound. The album features his new song with Coi Leray “Lost in Time”. We talked to him about why he retired from rapping, and completely moved over to singing soulful songs, taking inspiration from old music like 808’s and HeartBreak & Man On The Moon. He also talks about why he feels he was blackballed from the music industry at a certain point, hating the fact that people judged him off his face tats/image, and not his ability to actually rap.
