Rob Riches here from Blue Star Nutraceuticals and today I’m running you through a fast and furious high intensity workout that will carve out your abs and keep your metabolism cranked up to 38 hours after you finish.

Best of all, it doesn’t require any equipment, so you can do this workout in your bedroom, backyard or anywhere else you choose.

This is The 18-Minute High Intensity Abs-at-Home Workout

Let’s get to it!

For this workout, you’ll perform a circuit of 5 exercises in H.I.I.T. training fashion.

That means you’ll perform each exercise for 30 seconds all out, then have 30 seconds to catch your breath before starting the next exercise.

Aim for as many reps as possible during your working intervals and focus on speed and explosiveness.

Once all 5 exercises are complete, that’s the end of round one.

Take 60 seconds to rest and rehydrate with AminoFast™ before starting the next round.

Your goal is to complete 3 rounds, for a non-stop 18-minute ab blitz.

Now let’s get this going!

Exercise #1: Burpee Mountain Climber
Drop to the ground in plank position, body straight like a board, then drive your knees up to your chest one at a time for two reps each side, then return to push up position, hop back to your feet and explode into the air - think speed and explosiveness.

Exercise #2: Alternate Toe Touch V-Ups
This is a great way to hit the upper and lower abs at the same time while working those lower obliques that create the v-cut look to your abs. Keep your legs and arms straight, raise your leg while crunching your upper body up at the same time, reaching up and touching your opposing foot with your hand - alternate side to side every rep.

Exercise #3: Russian Twists
Sit with your legs raised parallel to the floor - lean back - grab the med ball and twist, hitting the ground beside you alternating side to side. Think agility and twisting from the core.

Exercise #4: In-And-Out Crunches
Setup in a seated position with your hands placed at your sides and your knees bent about 90 degrees. Lean back, engage your core and pick your feet up so they’re parallel with the floor. From here crunch your core driving your knees towards your chest, then control back out. Continue moving your feet in and out parallel with the floor to torch your abs until time is up.

Exercise #5: Bicycle Crunches
Lie on your back, hands at your temples, shoulders and feet off the ground. Drive your opposing knee up as you crunch your elbow in and twist your body, touching your elbow to your opposite knee, then alternate side to side so your feet are pedaling in the air like riding a bicycle.
