David Morin here from Blue Star Nutraceuticals with this week’s Faster Fat Loss™ workout. This week I’m running you through a fast, furious, fat burning abs workout to torch belly fat, build a stronger core and skyrocket your metabolism for hours after you leave the gym.

This is Landmine Abs: 15-Minute 6-Pack Abs! Let’s get to it!

For this workout you’ll perform 5 exercises in circuit fashion.

You will perform these exercises in a tabata interval style - meaning you will perform each exercise for 20 seconds as hard as you can, then have 10 seconds to rest and get ready for the next exercise.

Once you finish all 5 exercises, that is the end of round 1.
Your goal is to complete 5 rounds in under 15 minutes - so keep your rest times between rounds as short as possible!

Now let’s get to it!

Exercise #1: Landmine Oblique Twists
Stand facing the landmine. Hold the end of the bar in both hands at chest height, control the weight as you twist down to your left hip, then explosively return the weight to the starting position, repeat on the right side. Continue alternating side to side, focusing on bracing the core and twisting from the obliques until the time's up.

Exercise #2: Landmine Ab Rollout
Setup on your knees perpendicular to the bar on the landmine setup. Grab the end of the bar, brace your core and lower as you roll the bar out as far as you can go. Lead with your hips and brace your core as you extend, then contract your abs to pull the bar back in under your shoulders again. Pull with your abs, not with your arms. To increase the difficulty, you can use a smaller plate on the bar, as the lower it is to the ground, the harder it will be. If you’re extremely advanced, you can also attempt to perform these from your toes instead of your knees.

Exercise #3:Landmine 1-Arm Overhead Sit Up
Sit facing a landmine setup, grab the end of the bar in one arm, perform a sit up extending the bar up over your head, then control back down, repeat all reps on one side for half the time duration, then switch sides for the remaining time. Keep control with these and focus on contracting your core to raise the weight.

Exercise #4: Landmine Russian Twist
Sit with your legs raised parallel to the floor - lean back - grab the end of the bar and twist, hitting the ground beside you alternating side to side. Think agility and twisting from the core.

Exercise #5: Landmine Hollow-body Hold
Finally we finish off with the landmine hollow-body hold. This is one of the best exercises for developing total core strength and endurance as it requires active engagement of your entire core and bracing your entire body. Hold the end of the bar between your legs and raise your legs up until your body forms a very slight U-shape - toes pointed and tension throughout your entire core. Hold this position and keep your core engaged, squeezing hard the entire time.
