Exploding Waves of the Bomb Cyclone on Lake Superior 4/11/19

The wintry Spring storm of April 11, 2019 had Lake Superior kicking up 15 foot waves, with sustained winds of 40 mph, gusting to 70 mph. The bomb cyclone created waves along the North Shore in Minnesota that were incredible and unrelenting. The abundant spray from the exploding waves and strong winds reached far and wide, coating the shoreline in ice.
