Bobby Caldwell - Heart of Mine (Landau Guitar Cover)

I was gutted to hear today that Mr Caldwell had passed. I had been working on my faux Michael Landau tone and thought it would be fitting to cover his parts on Mr Caldwell's beautiful Heart of Mine. Like the rest of the album, and indeed Bobby's career, this track is wonderfully written and soulfully sung. Check out his live version of this from his Japanese Parliament American Blue concert. I use Charvel DK24 into a Free The Tone Tri Avatar, into my Focusrite interface, recording onto Logic and using some stereo detune and delays to create a faux Wet Dry Wet set up.
