Planet 3 - Born to Love (AOR Guitar Cover)

I've done a few Planet 3 covers now, but if you're new to them, the project consisted of legendary songwriters and producers Jay Graydon, Clif Magness and Glen Ballard. Their collaboration on the Planet 3 work and Clif's solo album are as perfect examples of this kind of melodic rock as you can get. My brother used to have a couple of compilation CDs of Planet 3, Clif's 'Solo' album and Jay's 'Airplay for the Planet' and they were staples of car journeys. Really great production, melodies, and a lot of time quite clever and thoughtful lyrics too. Jay and Clif's guitar playing are always fun and Jay has some tricky 'grease' like licks in his solos. Always tricky to learn but a blast to play. Hope you enjoy! :)

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).
