The 1975 - She's American (Guitar Cover)

This was the first track I heard from The 1975 a few years ago, and it's always made me keep an eye on them as they can certainly produce one hell of pop tune that satisfies my '80's' buttons. I wanted to use this track to test a possible new guitar set up where I'm using an ABY pedal to switch from my usual set up with the Boss, to one that involves going direct into my interface to replicate some of the 'spanky' 80's clean tones. This will hopefully help me tackle some of the clean guitar work a little better while also being able to have my usual distorted tone on hand too. Hope you enjoy!

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky into a Mooer ABY pedal that splits my signal into, firstly, my Boss Me50 going into a Palmer Pdi-09, and secondly, my Boss Dimension C plugging direct into my interface. I use Logic Pro where I add a little reverb, EQ and for the clean channel, stereo delays.
