David Lee Roth - Yankee Rose (Guitar Cover)

I'm doing the Spanish version purely to be different and because I never realised it existed before starting to learn the guitar parts. I think it's just Dave that's different so guitar wise it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Steve Vai once again filling every nook and cranny with fills and licks and it was very fun to attempt to imitate. Just an enjoyable fun song in general and that's something DLR seemed to be a natural at. Loved the bass breakdown also, killer! Hope you enjoy!

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).

F.A.Q.
My headphones are purposely like that so the cable stays out the way.

I have a Patreon where I upload my notation notes for all my new covers and I am going through my old ones too. But I also provide custom notation and video lessons content there or at my bwmguitarlessons@gmail.com address.
