GOOD ROCKIN' TONITE 1993 Behind the Scenes

During Good Rockin’ Tonite’s final season on CBC in 1993, GRT floor director Bill Nevison shot home movie footage of the technical & production crews along with popular GRT host Stu Jeffries. Footage was shot during rehearsals & the taping of GRT’s 500th show anniversary featuring live performances by Sarah McLachlan, Barney Bentall, Paul Janz, & an all-star band including Jim Byrnes, Paul Dean & Matt Frenette (Loverboy) plus others . Behind the scenes footage was also shot at GRT’s second to last show. Denis Abramsen & Glenn Weston also took turns shooting footage which includes Brian Keating, Murray Wooding, Bill Nevison, John Baxter, Peter Cracknell, Glenn Weston, Ross Luckow, Bruce McDonald, Hugh Henderson, Stu Jeffries, Jeff Hill, Barney Bentall, Patsy MacDonald, Ken Gibson, Chris Stear, Gene Baedek, Denis Abramsen, Linda Cheng-Dupuis, Neil Simpson, Kimberley Dutchak, Jim Byrnes, Laurence McDonald, Peter Grainger, Ted Huang, Doug Bennett (Doug & the Slugs), Sarah McLachlan, Paul Janz, Paul Dean (Loverboy), Roman Fister, Bill Moore, Brad Marshall, & Anne McElroy. Bill Nevison compiled & edited the footage, combining behind the scenes footage from GRT shows 500 & 507.
