Metallica, Jody Watley & Wang Chung are guests of host Stu Jeffries on a 1988 edition of GOOD ROCKIN' TONITE from CBC-TV Vancouver. Interviewed here, Metallica founding member drummer Lars Ulrich posted an ad in 1981and vocalist James Hetfield answered. Vancouver's Bob Rock produced all their albums from 1990 t0 2003. The group is one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. Jody Watley won a Grammy Award in 1988 as Best New Artist, and with Madonna & Janet Jackson she's one of MTVs most nominated female artists ever. Jeremy Ryder & Jack Hues of English New Wave group Wang Chung (Yellow Ball in Mandarin), formed in 1980 and had massive hits with Everybody Have Fun (Wang Chung) Tonight and Let's Go. In 1984 they scored the film To Live and Die in L.A.
