IRISH ROVERS Leprechauns (5)

IRISH ROVERS leprechauns (Part 5) are from 3 separate shows in the half hour studio series. In the first, Bun Worrier, the Twerp and Willie sing Ob-La-Di, When I'm 64, and With a Little Help from my Friends. From the second, the three leprechauns sing Keep On the Sunny Side and perform the Busy Bee sketch. In the third, the leprechauns sing and perform Ray Stevens' song "Along Came Jones" with Willie as our hero Jones, Twerp as the maiden in distress, and Bun Worrier as the dastardly villain. The leprechauns appeared weekly in the CBC Vancouver studio series in a segment titled "Tales to Warm Your Mind" which started with a pop up book opening to a forest glade and revealing Bun Worrier (Jimmy Ferguson), Twerp (George Millar) and Willie (Will Millar), designed to appeal to the kids in the audience and those viewing the show. They would either perform a sketch or sing songs. And the magic word that changed the sets was "Ballyslapmagutrick!" Remember?
