*My standard armor model, the ductility which corresponds to the ductility achieved by armor plate of a given hardness during WWII.

A simulation showing the overpressure behind the armor after the explosion of a High Explosive projectile. There is atmospheric pressure (1e5 Pa) behind the armor. Overpressure means pressure above this value. 35 kPa is the threshold of damage to the eardrums.
