In the previous video, there were a few questions about projectile velocity. Well, it is much lower than the initial velocity because in these velocity areas the projectile remains intact and this allows me to get the most accurate data possible. I still calibrate my model to be as accurate as possible. As you can see, in the case of inclined armor, shear is an important failure mechanism. The model must take this into account. Unfortunately, no one has made a model that works for a practical mesh size, so I have to do everything myself. It takes thousands of hours of testing, but the effect is worth it.
