The Leonhard Center is an endowed teaching and learning center housed in the College of Engineering at Penn State. The mission of the center is to catalyze and support innovative teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure that Penn State delivers world-class engineering education.

The Leonhard Center is an invaluable resource for engineering education at Penn State, focusing on innovation and inclusion. In addition to helping faculty with innovative teaching, the Center seeks to promote a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all students in the College. One example of the innovations in the Leonhard Center is the Engineering Ambassador program which is a professional development program for undergraduates who conduct outreach activities in K-12 schools.
