Peter Gelling and members of Blind Freddy blues band auditioning a keyboard player c1995
Multi-awarding winning musician Peter Gelling (1960-2018) and members of Blind Freddy blues band auditioning a keyboard player sometime around the early to mid-1990s. The recording was on cassette tape, found among Peter's things after his passing.
There is some distortion in the old tape but it gives an insight into a behind-the-scenes aspect to the development of a very professional band, namely the process of auditioning a potential new member.
Peter Gelling played guitar and harmonica - and several other instruments. An eminent Australian musician, he was also a song-writer, music teacher, author and composer. Tim Spellman plays drums on the tape. The identities of others heard on the tape is not known.
