The Knutsford Great Penny Farthing Race 2023 #knutsford #pennyfarthing

The Knutsford Great Race takes place every 10 years, for penny-farthing bicycles only. Competitors have 3 hours to complete as many laps of the town centre as they can. There's a variety of levels of experience; some ride original Victorian penny-farthings, whilst others have modern ones; some competitors choose to dress in old-fashioned clothing. There were over 100 competitors in the race, with a few coming from far overseas, such as Canada, USA and New Zealand.
