Transient II — short film

What lurks beyond our consciousness? Think of those moments where we are confronted with realities different than what we so certainly remember. What if our past self is trying to warn us of something?

This is my senior film, shot with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera, a continuation of a world I created within my initial concept "Transient" from three years ago: https://youtu.be/OR5ugTNC2Zo. The production quality has been quite the evolution! This was more of an experiment for me than anything else as there were so many technical demands and skills I wanted to make sure I became proficient in before leaving university. The focus was primarily on world-building, to create a believable atmosphere and setting that I can only hope to dive into more in my upcoming years as a cinematographer.
