Clapping Push Up | Build Explosive Power In The Chest
HOW TO:
1. Set Up for Success
- Assume a push-up position with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- Engage your core and keep a straight line from head to heels.
2. Execute the Clapping Push Up
- Lower your body towards the ground with controlled strength.
- Push up explosively, using all your power to lift off the ground.
- As you ascend, bring your hands together to clap before landing back in the push-up position.
3. Repeat and Regulate
Aim for 8-10 reps per set to maximize effectiveness.
PRO TIP: Exploding off the ground is crucial. If you're not yet able to clap, focus on getting your hands off the ground, landing softly, and immediately transitioning into the next push-up.
