Ankle Sprain Rehab (Build Strength, Stability & Balance with 1 Exercise!)

Most clients have sprained their ankle at some point in their life, but very few have gone through a thorough and complete retraining program to ensure optimal ankle function and accurate brain mapping regarding ankle safety. To fully rehabilitate ankle injuries, it is vital to re-establish the client’s ability to balance while moving, and we are going to look at how to use a band to modulate the load and modulate the threat to help them get there.

In this video, we cover a banded rotational balance progression for the ankle and add in a bonus technique for stimulating the ankle via spinal cord reflexes and a vibration device. Ask your clients about the direction of their ankle sprain to get your starting point, grab a band, and give this series of drills a try!
