1920s Technicolor Makeup Tutorial - Bee Stung Lips and High Blush - Historically Accurate

This is a simple makeup technique taken from an actor's makeup guide. The big stars would have likely had their own makeup artist creating a custom look for them, so this would have been for background actors or folks doing lesser Technicolor films (artists for example.) The instructions are very simple and don't instruct using eyeshadow or contour even though the products were known to actors by this time.

The makeup used in this video is mostly homemade, discontinued or so generic it has no brand name. I think only my black Wet n Wild eye pencil is a commonly available item. Everything else is made to resemble period formulas.
