She was crossing 23rd Street in NYC.
In the crosswalk.
On the way to work.

She had the green light.

The truck was making a left turn from 1st Avenue onto 23rd St.
He never looked at the street signs.
They all said "Yield to Pedestrians in Crosswalk."

He stopped after he hit her.
The police came.
An ambulance came.

They said he made a left hand turn.
They said he never saw her.
