Albanese’s invite to King Charles likely out of ‘good form’ rather than personal anticipation
Sky News host Caroline Di Russo says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese inviting King Charles and Queen Camilla to Australia is likely out of “good form” rather than personal anticipation.
“The current prime minister and avowed republican has invited the King and Queen to Australia to be sure,” she said.
“But one suspects more so out of good form.
“Rather than personal anticipation.”
Ms Di Russo said Mr Albanese’s appointment of a new Governor-General does not bode well for relations with the monarchy.
