Number of formed Hamas units remain in Rafah as IDF warns of another ground invasion

Former British Army commander Richard Kemp says the IDF have got to “destroy Hamas elements” in Rafah as the war will not end until they are defeated.

“The IDF has cleared most of Gaza of Hamas-formed organisations,” Mr Kemp said.

“That does not mean to say there are not individuals and small groups of Hamas terrorists still in the rest of Gaza.

“But there are a number of formed units remaining in Rafah.

“An Israeli government minister … said you can’t put out 80 per cent of a fire; you have got to put out 100 per cent.”
