428 WGW - The Deep Wounds of the Genocide in Rwanda

The origins of the word mission denotes the sending of the Holy Spirit into the world from Latin missio from mittere. It seems a word from yesteryears and yet still today young men and women give their lives to countries unknown to spread the Gospel. Mark Riedemann interviews Fr. Mathias Jaworski OCD, a Carmelite missionary who has given his life those in Rwanda, a small landlocked country in east-central Africa, still trying to recover from the conflicts and wars in the mid-1990s.
