Hey there, neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Air Lift WirelessOne Air Compressor System for air helper Springs, here on our 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. The compressor is going to come with a little remote, which makes this super simple. Now, we aren't running our engine right now, so this isn't going to actually work, just 'cause we are tied into the ignition, but you can see on here, we have two different preset settings on here. So our neighbor came to us today with a bunch of his work trucks. He is in the construction and landscaping business, so he's got a variety of different loads he's gonna be carrying with these trucks. So he's gonna need something that is adjustable, and that's where air springs came into play, 'cause it's gonna allow him to easily adjust those PSI levels up and down, so that way, he's getting the most out of his ride quality and eliminating that sag, so that way, he can know he's traveling safely with all of that heavy equipment he's hauling around.

Now, typically, when you are that person who's working in construction or landscaping, you're not really gonna be around any kind of outlet to plug in a compressor. So that kind of leaves you with just carrying a generator around, and then also a compressor. So you got a lot of stuff that you're having to hold onto on a daily basis that you might not have room for, especially if you are hauling around a lot of tools or different equipment. So that's where an onboard compressor comes in, and that's exactly what we've installed for our neighbor today. And this is going to be the EZ Mount, so this one was honestly a pretty fast install.

So we're gonna have a little U-bolt that's gonna pop over our frame rail, mount up to our compressor, which is already mounted up to a bracket. So it makes it a super simple job. Alright, starting off our install, we need to determine where we're gonna actually mount up our compressor. We are gonna have to snip off the little spade connector that's on here already. We'll strip back our casing, twist that up, and then use one of the provided heat-shrink butt connectors.

I'm gonna get that on now to make it easier once we actually have this mounted up, so that way, we're not trying to fight it all up inside of here. So same thing with our red and white striped wire. We're going to strip back just a bit of the casing so that way, it can go into our butt connector. Now, at this point, I'm gonna try and get this mounted first, and then I'll crimp on this wire, 'cause I don't know if I'm really gonna have enough leeway here to really kind of play with it if I connect it to that just already. So for the U-bolt, I'm going through the frame, just straight over, and we'll see our ends poke out, and that's gonna match up with the holes on our bracket here.

Make sure if you have a harness that this is going under the harness. You don't want this to slip in over the harness and then end up crushing it when you tighten it down. Where's my other, there it is. I'm gonna go back and forth quite a bit between the two. I just really wanna make sure I'm getting it down nice and even, and I'm using a 9/16 socket. (drill whirring) Now that I have this mounted up, I am gonna put on my connector, and I'm gonna finish routing this across, and then I can show you exactly the route it took. Then we'll come back, finish up our connections here, and then we'll get over to our filter as well. So this will go up top, and I meant to show you this. There's a little red clip you press in to lock that in, that little lock tab, so. I wanted to just run all my wiring down our frame rail, and then up into the engine compartment. So what I like to do is I'll first click that connector up into our manifold, so up top here, leaving just a little bit of slack, because we don't wanna have this too tight to where something could potentially pinch. And then just tracing along with all the wire harnesses, this one has a ton of stuff on the frame, so a lot to really kind of grab onto with the zip ties.
