Press Liftoffs: The Best Exercise for Press Handstand?

I get asked often "what's the best drill to learn press handstand?"
The best drill is to try to press. That way you're working on the movement directly while getting stronger to eventually do it.
The complicated part is how to attempt a press handstand in a way that gets you stronger, knowing that you can't currently do it. That's where the press liftoff exercise comes in.
Basically we're just trying to accummulate time under tension the bottom of the press, which is physically the most difficult portion of the movement. Once you have that strength and control, the rest of the press depends more on your ability to handstand.

Pick your favorite variation and give this one a go. Feel free to be creative and make your own variations.
