- 2 lbs carne molida(baja en grasa)
(2 lbs lean ground beef)

- 3 tazas agua ( ó menos a su gusto)
(3 cups water or to your liking)

- 1 salsa de tomate con sabor a hongos o de su preferencia
(1 tomato sauce with mushroom flavor) or to your liking

- 1/2 cebolla morada
(1/2 red onion)

- 3 dientes de ajo
(3 garlic cloves)

- 1/4 chile verde
(1/4 green pepper)

- un poquito cilantro
( a little cilantro)

- 3 estaquitas de apio
(3 celery sticks)

- 1 sobre sazon Goya (culantro y achiote)
(1 sazon Goya with culantro y achiote)

- sal al gusto
(salt to your liking)

- pimienta negra al gusto
(black pepper to your liking)

para el pure de papas( patatas):
for the mashed potatoes:

- 8 papas amarillas(patatas medianas)
(8 yellow medium potatoes)

- agua suficiente para cocinar papas(patatas)
(enough water to cook potatoes)

- 1/2 taza de leche
(1/2 cup milk)

- 1 cda margarina
(1 tbs margarine)

- sal al gusto
( salt to your liking)

- pimienta negra al gusto
(black pepper to your liking)
