DELICIOUS Christmas Phyllo Cookies!

Learn how to quickly and easily make delicious Phyllo cookies for Christmas, or any time!

This recipe makes approximately 15 Phyllo Christmas Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 Box of Phyllo Pastry (Nonna uses Presidents Choice)
Melted Butter – approx. ½ cup
Honey – warmed in the Microwave
Toasted Almonds – crushed baby!

TOOLS
Parchment Paper - line that baking sheet!
Rolling Stick (“The Stick” Nonna uses is actually the handle from an old Swiffer Broom!)
Cooking brush
Baking Sheet

DIRECTIONS
- Brush Phyllo sheet with melted butter, roll with stick, gently slide off stick, and join the two ends making a circle shape – place on lined baking sheet – repeat! (TIP – when rolling the Phyllo, leave some trim at the end – this will create the base inside the cookie)
- Preheat oven to 350
- With Phyllo cookies on parchment lined baking sheet, place on middle rack in preheated oven at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven
- Brush Phyllo Cookies with Honey, sprinkle with crushed almonds and done!
