Owl Feeding Chicks At Night | Baby Owls Eating Mice

This is a nighttime infrared footage ow an owl nest. We used a camera with infrared vision to film what's going on inside a Japanese scops owl nest during the night. This clip is about the owl bringing a mouse to its chicks to eat.
Infrared filming doesn't hurt the owls, they can not see the light.

Japanese scops owl (Otus semitorques) is a very small owl (21-25.5 cm). Their eye color can vary from bright red to orange-yellow. This species is distributed across South-East Siberia (Ussuriland and Sakhalin Island), South Kuril Islands, and Japan (from Hokkaido to Okinawa).
This supspecies (Otus semitorques ussuriensis) inhabits the Primorye Territory of the Russian Far East, also called Ussuriland.
