091023 FM 1484 FATAL CRASH

Just before 3 am North Montgomery County Fire Department received a call for a major accident on FM 1484 at Cedar Lane. THe first unit arrived on the scene to find an Infinity Q35 rolled over in the ditch and a 17-year-old female and a male in his 20s on the ground. First Responders started CPR on the female but as MCHD Medics arrived she was pronounced deceased. The male was transported to the hospital in stable condition. DPS Troopers investigated the crash and determined the female was driving too fast for conditions. She left the roadway in a curve and took down two curve signs before flipping the vehicle. FM 1484 was closed until 9 am. The male who was transported to th hospital has since been released.
